I received this ARC from the Netgalley and the publishers for an honest review.

Review | Rating: 5 stars

I enjoyed this book so much. The only thing I hate is the fact that I'll have to wait until December for the last book. Second books in a series always seem to fall flat for me and do not have as much adventure as the first book. Emily doesn't have this problem with her second books. Into the Hourglass had just as much if not more adventure, intrigue, and "oh, wow" moments as Before the Broken Star. I love Everley even more now that I've learned more about her and what drives her. She wants to do what's right and she wants to find love and live a long, happy life. She wants a life where she's not handicapped by a disability and I can unde...

I started reading through the journal and I found that it could be a very useful and productive tool for romance writers of all genres from fantasy to contemporary. There are many highlights within the journal that will help jumpstart creativity within romance writers or help continue a story when writer’s block hits. These are only a few of so many other great prompts and activities that could be found in this amazing journal...

But a chance meeting with Luca, the talkative, crush-worthy boy in her driver’s ed class, has Wren wondering if maybe she’s too quick to push people away. Queen of Ruin is the sequel to Grace and Fury, by Tracy Banghart. Queen of Ruin is a powerful story about female empowerment and finding your voice. Serina and Nomi both had to reinvent themselves throughout the series but more so in Queen of Ruin when they were faced with obstacles that threatened to tear them apart forever.

Queen of Ruin starts right where Grace and Fury left off with Serina and the women on Mount Ruin having led a successful revolt and overpowered the guards and Nomi on a boat with Maris and Malachi headed to Mount Ruin. The sisters are reunited and learn what the other has been through to since they w...
